The sports blogosphere has spoken for another week on the Bloggers MVP/ROY races. And Kobe Bryant has spoken, too. See below for how the Bloggers voting unfolded for Round 5, how DallasBasketball.com filled out its ballot, and what The Drama Queen says as he’s about to face off with the front-runner.
*First to the entirety of the Round 5 voting, cordially hosted and supervised by TruthAboutIt.
*DB.com's MVP Voting for Round 5
1 LeBron James, Cavs – That Friday nighter over Boston is his submission to the committee. Kid’s got more game than the Cavs have alternate uniforms.
2 Kobe Bryant, Lakers – Doesn’t it seem like he’s shooting a little less but making a little more? The Drama Queen’s game may be at its finest-ever point.
3 Chris Paul, Hornets – He’s the pocket-size version of Dirk Nowitzki, being asked to carry a huge load
for a second-tier contender.
4 Dwight Howard, Magic – Weird week, though. He scored 39 against Toronto – and Orlando still lost?
5 Dwyane Wade, Heat -- He’s still Ernie Banks. Though the old Cub only wanted to “play two,’’ while D-Wade wants to “fall down seven times.’’
6 Tim Duncan, Spurs – He and the Spurs are beneficiaries of the NBA’s so-far easiest schedule. Somehow, though, don’t you think Timmy will persevere?
7 Chauncey Billups, Nuggets – He’s already responsible for the Executive of the Year trophy. Now, with no ‘Melo, we see his MVP mettle.
8 Kevin Garnett, Celtics – If only yelling earned a guy votes.
9 Dirk Nowitzki, Mavs – He’s the family-sized version of Chris Paul, being asked to carry a huge load for a second-tier contender.
10 Shaquille O’Neal, Suns – Casting this vote feels like wearing parachute pants: It’s out-of-style, but quite comfortable. What Shaq did to the Mavs in that 28-point win was time-capsule stuff.

1 Derrick Rose, Bulls
2 OJ Mayo, Grizz
3 DJ Augustin, Bobcats
4 Russell Westbrook, Thunder
5 Eric Gordon, Clippers
*And finally, The Drama Queen’s vote:
"LeBron," he said. "Leave me alone about that stuff. … I'm a big fan of his, obviously. I just think the world of him. Playing with him this summer (at the Olympics), and seeing his work ethic and what he's about, I just think he's terrific."
Kobe and LeBron get an up-close look tonight as the Lakers (31-8) play the Cavaliers (31-7).
