Donnie Nelson's D-League All-Star Management Team: Del Harris, Spud Webb And Head Coach Nancy Lieberman

   Owner Donnie Nelson’s Frisco-based D-League team doesn’t have a team name, but it’s got names. Donnie and co-owner Evan Wyly have taken three attention-getting swings with three executive hires.

   Get a load of this:

   The general manager is going to be Del Harris.

   The president of basketball operations is going to be Spud Webb.

   And the head coach is going to be Nancy Lieberman. (Yes, it's a men's team, smart aleck.)

   That oughta grab some headlines, eh?

   All three are icons in DFW and beyond. All three happen to be friends of DallasBasketball.com. (In fact, I just got off the phone with Del, who just happens to live less than a mile from the arena where the Texas Somethings will play.)
