BREAKING: Josh Howard Is 'Probable' For Raptors at Mavs

   “It will be good to have Josh Howard back tonight,’’ said Jason Terry as the Mavs wrapped up their morning shootaround in preparation for tonight’s AAC visit from the Raptors.

   After that tweet at 11:11 a.m, we soon after confirmed with the club that J-Ho – who hasn’t played all fall while rehabbing from ankle surgery – is considered “probable’’ to make his debut.

   There is one “if’’ here and there are a few other injury tidbits:

   *The “if’’: Josh will rest this afternoon. The Mavs will monitor any swelling and pain … if all is well, he’s a go.’’

   *Meanwhile, guard Quinton Ross (back) is considered questionable but he seems intent on trying to play.

   *The Mavs do not plan on having available Tim Thomas (knee) and consider Drew Gooden (ribs) doubtful.
