J-Ho is back!
Josh Howard is planning to make his re-return with the Mavs tonight, just in time to take on the visiting Phoenix Suns.
No word yet on exactly what role Howard will play tonight; he was immediately reinserted into the starting lineup as the 2-guard last time he attempted to play on his surgically-repaired left ankle. Josh missed the first five games of the season before attempting to return and has since missed 13 games.
Rookie Roddy Beaubois has largely been the starter at the 2 in Josh’s absence, with a dozen straight starts. Jason Terry was the first-teamer in this weekend’s loss to Atlanta, and there has been some talk this week about J.J. Barea possibly getting a turn with the starters.
