Doctors apparently are advising Terry to wear the mask for the rest of this season to protect his face from further injury after orbital-bone surgery. Jet – or “Jet-I,’’ as some of his “Star Wars’’-referencing Mavs teammates have been calling him – is a superstitious type. If he plays well with the mask, he’s more likely to retain it. And otherwise?
Well, let’s hope he plays well with it.
